Today I stumbled upon this lady's blog and it is so full of encouragement for Mom's. I cried my way through this video and it was so TRUE and so blessed for my discouraged moments.

A mother is usually the most important person we will ever know in our lives. She is the one through which life comes to our fragile bodies. She is the one who sacrificed self-comfort, sleep, her own flesh for YOU. She is the one who gave hugs, kissed owies and prayed for you. 

A Mom is someone no one wants to do without! 

Mother's Day is a day when we stop and try to shower our special women with attention, to show them how much we really do appreciate all they have done! 

I don't know about you- but as a Mom I love knowing that my little ones took the time to make me a card, or sing me a song, or pick me some flowers to show they cared. 

For a lot of us our Moms are just far away that our arms too short to give that hug we long to give and money isn't enough to get us to her doorstep for this special day. 

My Mom loves knowing she is loved- in whatever way I can show it best. For me that is to create something or buy something just for HER.

This will the first year in many years that I have got to celebrate Mother's Day with my Mom. They are here with us across the big, wide ocean.

I am loving have the grandparents here to spoil their grand kids. Man, do I wish this was my every day life. It sure is sad living so far from family. As much as I love living here, I don't think I will ever be over living so far away from family.

But to spoil my Mom a bit while she is here I am taking her out to a very nice, restaurant and to the opera. How are you spoiling your Mom?

Thank you for choosing to bless me with brothers and a sister, I would not have liked to be an only child. 

Thank you for raising me the best you knew how and sacrificing your time and patience to home-school us. 

Thank you for all the music lessons- I am so glad to have learned to play the piano, violin and to sing. 

Thank you for waking up in the night to listen and pray with me when I had a scary dream.

Thank you for teaching me to cook, and letting me have independence in the kitchen to become a cake decorator. 

Thank you for teaching me to sew and giving me the skills to quilt and sew clothes for my children.
